It comes after precautionary measures were put in place by government officials after two cases were detected with COVID-19 virus in Turkey, the organisers said in a statement.
The fifth edition of the Global Satellite and Space Show has been postponed to June 24-26 and will take place at Antalya International Airport Hall 3 in Turkey. Earlier, it was scheduled to take place from April 22 to 24.
The event organisers have put precautionary measures in place according to the directions of the Ministry of Health. The steps include a historical analysis of official delegates, thermal camera for exhibition area entrance, micro bacterial cleaning of the exhibition areas, programme event areas, and special event areas with nanotechnology.
Use of disinfectants has been made mandatory at the exhibition area entrance, and other places related to the event, according to the measures put in place by the health ministry.
The show will bring together end-users from multiple market verticals including O&G, government and defence, aviation, transport and logistics, telco and mobility who are looking for solutions to enable connectivity of the future.
The show aims to integrate the latest satellite and space technologies and provide a platform to meet prospective business partners and form alliances with counterparts from the industry.
