Steen has an over 30 year history in the satellite industry, and was well-known for being the CEO of iDirect from 2017 until 2022.
Eutelsat Group has announced the appointment of Kevin Steen as President and CEO of Eutelsat America Corp. (EAC), a subsidiary of Eutelsat Group, and OneWeb Technologies (OWT). Steen will continue in his existing role as President and CEO of OWT. The integration of EAC and OWT was finalised earlier this year, and they will now operate as a single entity under the EAC banner.
EAC specialises in delivering communication services and solutions to US Government and Military customers worldwide in support of national security missions.
Kevin Steen has been serving as the CEO of OWT since 2022 and previously held the position of CEO of iDirect from 2017 to 2022. He is widely recognised as a leader in the satellite industry, demonstrating a track record of success through organic and inorganic growth strategies. Steen joined iDirect in 2010 and has held various roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Development. With over 30 years of technology and business experience, Steen holds a masters degree in business administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver.
