The agreement includes the possibility of designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing radars, electronic defence systems, simulators, cyberdefence training solutions, and more.

Lockheed Martin and Indra, prominent global technology and consulting companies, have inked a new collaboration agreement to jointly explore cooperative initiatives in the air, land, sea, and cyber defence sectors, as well as in simulation and sustainment.
The agreement, recently signed by Ray Piselli, Vice President International at Lockheed Martin, and José Vicente de los Mozos, Chief Executive Officer of Indra, lays the foundation for Spanish engineers at Indra to collaborate on the development and manufacturing of defence and training systems for Spain and other global markets.
Speaking at the signing event, Ray Piselli said: Developing mutually beneficial relationships with the Spanish industry is a key focus for our team. This new agreement with Indra will strengthen our enduring relationship with Spain. It shows Lockheed Martin is a corporate citizen that is here for the long-term to support Spanish security, its industry, and the national economy for decades to come.
Indra must play a leading role in the transformation the defence industry needs, and this agreement will contribute substantially to this purpose, making the industry more competitive and providing it with greater capabilities for the challenges ahead, said Indra chairman Marc Murtra.
José Vicente de los Mozos added: This agreement with Lockheed Martin highlights the value of the cutting-edge technology we’re developing in Spain in areas such as air defence, radars, electronic defence, cyber defence, simulation and sustainment, as well as our capacity to integrate, manufacture and market systems worldwide. Collaboration in these areas strengthens our position and that of the Spanish industry as a whole.
Lockheed Martin has a longstanding history of supporting the Spanish Navy, contributing highly capable systems for various missions, including F-100 frigates, S-80 submarines, MH-60R, and SH-60B helicopters.
Through industrial partnerships, Lockheed Martin has already delivered more than $1bn of industrial benefits to Spain, with the Spanish industry supporting Lockheed Martin programs globally.
The collaboration between Lockheed Martin and Indra signifies a strategic alliance aimed at advancing defence capabilities and fostering innovation in critical sectors, marking a milestone in their commitment to long-term partnership and mutual success.
