The contract between Space42s Bayanat Smart Solutions and EDGEs FADA will enhance the nations geospatial capabilities over the next five years.
UAE-based SpaceTech company Space42 has announced a strategic collaboration with FADA, an EDGE Group entity focused on developing the UAEs geospatial analytics capabilities. The partnership, valued at AED 378m ($102.91m), aims to enhance the countrys Earth Observation (EO) downstream capabilities across multiple sectors.
The agreement will utilise data from Space42s Foresight Constellation of SAR satellites, first launched in August 2024 and expanded in January 2025. Space42 and FADA will work closely with various government agencies to further develop platform capabilities in the coming years.
