ST Engineering iDirect has announced four new strategic appointments, as the business strengthens its global leadership team.
Tim Verschage, a satcom industry veteran, has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Development. He will concentrate on ensuring that ST Engineering iDirect technology is aligned in a way which fast-tracks innovation to meet a variety of new satellite applications. Previously Director of Business Development at Intelsat General Corporation, Verschage brings more than 30 years of experience in engineering, systems integration and product and programme management.
Emma Park has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Market and Growth Strategy and will redefine the companys go-to-market strategy in response to the evolving and dynamic market and customer requirements. Park brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, business development and strategy in telecommunications, satellite and IoT.
Dean Buckley has been named Chief Operating Officer, and will be laser-focused on customer-centricity ensuring execution and committed delivery of the companys products and solutions. In his 18 years with the company, Buckley has managed several of its key operational and customer-facing teams and has been responsible for positioning the company for scalable growth.
Julie Bettinger has been named as Chief Marketing Officer, having led ST Engineering iDirects marketing team for nearly two decades. Bettinger will be focused on strengthening the companys brand positioning and will also play a critical role in continued strategic engagement with customers and the market.
In their new positions, these industry experts will support recently appointed CEO Don Claussen and the rest of the executive team, in leading the company in expanding its global leadership and technology vision against a backdrop of rapid satcom industry transformation.
