Saudi Entertainment Ventures Company (SEVEN), tasked with developing the kingdoms entertainment sector by 2030, has announced the launch of a 100,000 sqm entertainment complex in Riyadh.
The entertainment complex will include several recreational facilities for sports activities, live entertainment, cinema and art while also offering a number of dining options for visitors.
Speaking about the complex, Abdullah Al Dawood, Chairman of SEVEN, said: We aim to make the area a go-to entertainment destination in which families can have picnics, enjoy the arts, relax and get some exercise and fresh air.
SEVEN, a recently re-branded unit of Public Investment Fund, has been provided within an initial capital of USD 2.7bn to support and develop the entertainment sector, build capacity and strengthen local talent through the establishment of various recreational projects across the country.
The companys primary focus is on developing four strategic sectors including launching cinema theatres; recreational complexes; amusement parks; and family entertainment centers.
