The sixth edition of the Saudi Film Festival is set to begin virtually tomorrow (September 1) and will go on till September 6.
The film festival is organised by the Culture and Arts Association in Dammam, in partnership with the King Abdul Aziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran, and is backed by the Film Commission of the Ministry of Culture.
The six-day festival, which aims to celebrate Saudi films and filmmakers, will include screenings, discussion panels, symposia and awards. The festival will include four competitions and an independent jury to decide the winners.
The festival will present the programmes through live broadcasts which include film screenings, meetings with filmmakers, seminars and workshops.
