The show stars Tunisian actor Dhafer L’Abidine who plays the character Fares Al Daher in the TV series. In the beginning, Fares challenges his family to marry Thuraya who he loves regardless of his mother’s strong disapproval because of their social differences. As the show goes on, many conflicts arise at the Al Daher palace and multiple plots are planned, but the duo survive.
Alongside L’Abidine, Beirut’s Bride brings together a cast of Arab TV stars including Carmen Bsaibes, Takla Chamoun, Mohamad Al Ahmad, Joe Trad, and Alaa Alzuabi, in addition to Rita Harb, who joined the cast of season two.
Dhafer is also known to have played similar roles such as Farid in Eugénie Nights TV series, which also co-stars Carmen Bsaibes, Selim in Halawat Al Dounia TV series, and Hatem in Taht Al Saytara TV series.
L’Abidine’s latest TV series The Eddy premiered on Netflix last May, and where he plays Sami Ben Miled.
