Selevision chooses Squadeo’s video player to power Seevii

Selevision has chosen Squadeo, a global provider of secure cross-platform OTT video solutions, to power the video playout on mobile, laptops and set-top box devices in the UAE for its entertainment service Seevii.

Seevii offers up to 200 TV channels in both HD and SD. This, in addition to Video on Demand (VoD), Restart TV, Catch-up TV and a fully advanced Electronic Programme. The service is delivered via different HEVC-based set-top boxes, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets in addition to a web portal, enabling users to seamlessly consume broadcast video, VOD and DVR content on additional screens anywhere and at any time.

Squadeo was chosen due to its strong video player expertise resulting into elegant and market-fit video solutions for Android, iOS and Web for PC and Mac, providing a player product that is secure, robust and with differentiating features like fixing device issues remotely from the cloud and YouTube-like scrubbing experience.
