Ateme, a major player in video compression, delivery, and streaming solutions, has announced its technology integration into SES’s distribution network to elevate and secure the broadcasting of sports and events content worldwide.
Building on a longstanding partnership, SES will deploy Ateme’s TITAN encoders, multiplexers and decoders to distribute Ultra-High and High-Definition content via its ground and satellite infrastructure. Ateme’s technology includes premium frame rate conversion with full motion compensation and High Dynamic Range (HDR) support in Ultra-High Definition (UHD) for an enhanced visual experience.
The advanced solutions also feature the BISS-CA encryption standard and receivers, integrating HDR conversion with HDR LUT (Look-Up-Table) conversion, ensuring the highest quality video content with optimal picture clarity, smooth motion, and robust security measures.
