Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has produced a new web series titled Betaal, which will be released on Netflix this month.
Betaal is a horror-thriller written and directed by Patrick Graham, who had previously directed Ghoul. The show, which will be available to watch from May 24, is co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan.
According to the official synopsis, a group of officials who have been hired to displace tribal villagers to make way for a new highway, unearth an old curse and an army of British soldier-zombies.
The project is a collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Netflix, SK Global, and Blumhouse Productions, the banner that is known for its Hollywood horror productions as Paranormal Activity and Insidious.
