A delegation representing the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) visited the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2023. This event, held from September 15 to 18 in Amsterdam, has attracted over a thousand exhibitors from 170 countries, showcasing the latest innovations in the field, according to the report by WAM.
During their visit, the SBA delegation received comprehensive briefings on the most recent advancements in broadcasting, production, photography, and recording technologies within the realm of television devices. Engaging with a diverse array of experts, specialists, and representatives from international companies specialising in television and media broadcasting tools and devices, the delegation explored opportunities to leverage these cutting-edge technologies for upcoming projects.
Discussions centred on the integration of these technologies into future SBA initiatives, aligning with the organisation’s commitment to staying at the forefront of developments in the media industry. This strategic endeavour is in line with the vision of Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who continues to provide support to elevate the SBA as one of the leading media bodies and institutions in the region.
The delegation embarked on a tour of the event’s pavilions, where they encountered numerous industry giants specialising in broadcast equipment and technological solutions catering to the radio and television sector.
