Shure MEA has announced the appointment of Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK Ent.) as its exclusive distributor for Kuwait.
NMK Electronics has been an established Shure distributor for the past 24 years for the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain, and will now be responsible for all Shure-related sales activities in Kuwait as well, covering all three segments of Shures business: MI Retail, Pro Audio and the Installed Market.
“This is a logical extension of our existing relationship with NMK, who already handles much Shure business across the Gulf region,” commented Freddy Sicko, Shure MEA’s General Manager.
In another announcement, the company is moving to a dual distribution arrangement in Turkey. Its long-term partner Nefan Ticaret Ve Sanayi Ltd. Sti, based in Istanbul, will continue as a Shure distributor focusing on the retail and pro audio. Atempo Proje Taahhut Ses ve Goruntu Sistemleri A.S., has been appointed as the new distributor in Turkey for systems and conferencing solutions.
