Sony Europe Ltd (Sony) has announced the acquisition of Memnon Archiving Services SA, a Brussels-based digitisation and archiving company. Memnons archiving services and technologies coupled with Sonys extensive workflow and media solutions are expected to create new market opportunities for advanced media asset management and digitisation solutions for media companies, broadcasters and institutions around the world.

Sonys acquisition of Memnon Archiving Services SA was effective as of July 1st and will include all assets, including Intellectual Properties Rights as well as their technology and software solutions engineering capabilities. Memnon will become a part of Sony Professional, Sony Europe Ltd.
