SpaceToon started its 15th year anniversary in 2015 with new business partnerships at an international level bringing top hit brands and productions to the MENA region. Kids and families will enjoy the variety of content through its strong exposure on SpaceToon different media platforms.
The Masha & the Bear series and MIA are big hit titles that SpaceToon are bringing to our beloved children, said Fayez Al Sabbagh, President of SpaceToon TV.
Masha & the Bear is a 3D animated programme trending around the world with more than 10 billion viewers on YouTube Claus Tomming Managing Director of Ink Global clarified (the worldwide representative of the Masha and the Bear brand) . The Masha & the Bear series will be broadcast in March on SpaceToon Kids.
SpaceToon is also announcing its international coproduction partnership, with its first achievement, MIA, Al Sabbagh continued: MIA is an edutainment 3D CGI series that aims to trigger kids to think before they act, with a big focus on environmental issues.
MIA is the result of a co-production, joint-venture between the following entities: SpaceToon (UAE), Lalune light (Malaysia), Cyber Group & Lagardere (France) and Sardine Production (Radio Canada).
SpaceToon Kids TV, launched in 2000, is the first free-to-air satellite kids channel covering 22 countries, transmitting to over 230 million viewers in the Middle East and North Africa region. The global headquarters of SpaceToon Kids TV is located in Dubai Media City, UAE.
Arabian Licensing Company (ALC), signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Masha & the Bear and MIA licensors for exclusive representation in MENA region.
