Spacetoon has partnered with Dubai-based content agency WAVIT to co-produce the show.
Spacetoon has recently launched its live production show Game On, a gaming show broadcasting on its young adult block SpacePower on Spacetoon TV and Spacetoon GO online streaming service.
GameOn is one of its kind TV show targeting the video gamers community in the Arab world. The show format combines the educational building factor along with the entertainment aspects to guarantee high viewership and engagement.
GameOn will have 13 episodes for its debut season. Popular gamers and content creators from different MENA countries will be hosting the show, covering gaming news and trends, game challenges with different gamers, interviews with top industry leaders in addition to in-depth game reviews. Global and local gaming and tech brands have taken part in the show to showcase their newest releases directly to fans through premium TV content.
Shot at Spacetoon Studios in Dubai Media City, Game On will be broadcasted weekly on Friday at 10:00 PM, during SpacePower block, targeting young adults. While Spacetoon GO will be streaming the episodes one day in advance.

GameOn comes in a time when research by Research & Markets found that “nearly half of the MENA population is under 25 years old and have grown up as digital natives with gaming playing a huge role in their entertainment, with revenues forecasted to reach $3.14bn in 2025 .”
The research also reveals that “governments in the region are supportive of the video game sector. Saudi Arabia and the UAE have introduced policies to encourage game localisation, local game development, new studios and offices of international game companies, and hosting major e-sports tournaments.”
