Inspired by true events, Big Lie takes a look at controversial topics related to the dark side of social media, highlighting its influence and its destructive side. With its first-of-its-kind concept and original storyline, Big Lie distinguishes itself from conventional drama films, offering a perspective on the contemporary challenges faced by society in the digital age, with a comedic twist.
Directed and produced by Nadim Mehanna, founder of NMPRO Arts, the movie includes a star-studded cast, featuring Heba Nour, Sandy Farah, Fouad Yammine, Yaaqoub Chahine, Laura Khabbaz, and Sharbel Zyadeh.
Big Lie delves into the lives of Yasmine and Jessica who utilise social media in contrasting ways to achieve their own objectives. Yasmine harnesses the power of social media to advocate for truth and make a meaningful difference in addressing injustices globally.
