Subscribers in UAE will be to watch Asian Championships on Abu Dhabi Sports Asia 1 and Abu Dhabi Sports Asia 2 channels via StarzPlay.
Abu Dhabi Media has signed an agreement with StarzPlay to stream AFC tournaments of the national teams and clubs competitions. The state broadcaster has the exclusive broadcast rights to the AFC tournaments from 2021 to 2024 for the UAE.
Beginning September, the matches will be streamed on StarzPlay starting with the Asian qualifying matches for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
For AED 15 ($4.08) a month, football fans in the UAE can watch the Asian competitions and subscribe to Abu Dhabi Sports channels (Asia 1 and Asia 2) on StarzPlay. Alternatively, they may also subscribe to the complete StarzPlay package for AED 40 ($10.89). The commentary for all the Asian championships’ matches will be available in both Arabic and English.
