'El-Ekhteyar' part one was the first Egyptian series to document the military operations that took place in Sinai against terrorists and talk about the many Egyptian officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the battle.
Egyptian production company Synergy has released the official promo of El Ekhteyar-2 (The Choice), which is scheduled to air during Ramadan.
The series is written by Hani Sarhan and directed by Peter Mimi.
Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Mekky will play the main characters in the second part. The series also stars Hend Sabry, Eyad Nassar, Bushra, Ahmed Shaker, late veteran actor Hady el Gayar, zingy el Mokadem among others.
The first part followed the story of the Barth massacre, highlighting the patriotic acts of the thunderbolt forces commander Ahmed Mansy.
