Microsoft is hosting a day-long event on Monday, May 23 at Waldorf Astoria, The Palm Jumeirah to introduce its cloud solutions to broadcast professionals in the region. Held under the theme Take your media to the next level, take it to the Cloud, the sessions will begin with an overview of the media industry and how cloud-based solutions can address the demands and challenges of a constantly evolving media landscape.
The attendees will have an opportunity to have hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud solutions, and get an insight into how they can leverage these solutions to reach a larger audience in order to fulfill their business and commercial goals. The event will also provide the attendees a platform to connect with industry experts and network with peers.
A technical introduction to video on demand video workflows using Azure media services is a part of the agenda and so is a detailed presentation of live video workflows using Azure media. Also discussed will be playout on Azure as well as multi-CDN delivery.
The afternoon discussions will centre on Azure media analytics, Azure media player and business modeling with Azure media services.
