The film will screen at the Cairo International Film Festival on November 19 and 20.
The Attic has released the trailer for the feature film Riverbed by Lebanese director Bassem Breche, ahead of its world premiere
The film will compete in the Horizons of Arab Cinema competition at the 44th Cairo International Film Festival, scheduled to take place from November 13 to 22.
The official trailer reveals the heroines of the film as they face a lot, separately and with each other in a bunch of feelings and floundering situations.
The film stars Carole Abboud, Oumaya Malaeb, with the participation of Rabih El Zahr, Antoinette Noufaili, Fadia Al Tannir, Fadi Saqr, Nisrine Khoder, and Dana Diya. The film is produced by Jana Wehbe for The Attic, in co-production with Metafora Production, and written and directed by Bassem Breche.
Ghassan Salhab co-writes the film. The credits also include director of photography Nadim Souma, and Editor Rana Sabbagha. The film has received support from the Doha Film Institute (DFI), the Arab Fund for Culture and Arts (AFAC), Le Centre National du Cinéma Français et d’image animée (CNC), Beirut DC, Act for Lebanon and the Agnes Varis Trust.
