The 9th Season of the long-running TV drama series The Walking Dead will premiere on October 8 in the Middle East exclusively on Fox.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead is reportedly televisions most watched drama for adults 18-49 for six consecutive years. The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series is executive produced by Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, Showrunner Angela Kang, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Tom Luse and Denise Huth.
The new season features the return of The Walking Dead (TWD) character, Rick Grimes, reportedly in response to the demands of the millions of fans around the world. Others returning stars include Norman Reedus (Daryl), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan).
With a leadership battle between Rick and Maggie rumoured to make waves, members of the tribe struggle to come together as they discover that living in peace may be harder than in war.
