Megahertz Ltd has added three highly experienced members to its sales and support team to get even closer to its customers. Tim Rawlings returns to Megahertz to look after the regional sales in the Middle East and Africa; Mihail Jolicic will be responsible for sales and business development in South East Europe and Chris McClure will join to build the sales support team.
With over 28 years in the industry and a long history of supporting broadcasters in their transition to tapeless, file-based workflows, Rawlings brings a wealth of understanding and expertise to the role at Megahertz. He has a real affinity with these two markets having worked in the broadcast space in the Middle East and Africa for many years.
Chris McClure has a breadth of industry experience spanning over 30 years and has worked for broadcasters such as the BBC and equipment suppliers including, Sony Broadcast and Grass Valley. He comes to Megahertz from Arqiva where he was responsible for securing multi-million pound contracts with major broadcasters for the companys managed distribution and satellite uplink services.
Mihail Jolicic has a range of end user broadcast experience starting with his time as an engineer with Radio-televizija Srbije RTS, the public broadcaster in Serbia, as well as his role as Chief Engineer at Television IN and Technical Manager at Fox TV where he was responsible for the build out of the MCR and the companys transmission systems. Jolicic is based in Montenegro and will be responsible for developing market opportunities for Megahertz in South East Europe.
In todays challenging climate we are looking at ways to get ever closer to our customers to build the intimacy and understanding of their business, and to ensure that our services and solutions offering best meet their changing operational and technical requirements now and into the future, said Jon Flay, Managing Director of Megahertz.
The appointment of Tim, Chris and Mihail will help to solidify those relationships and grow these markets while allowing us to help broadcasters as they transition to HD file-based workflows, 4k Ultra HD, IP and beyond.
