With the new feature, subscribers will be able to watch content both offline and on-the-go.
TOD, BeIN’s streaming platform, has introduced a new download feature for its entertainment portfolio enabling subscribers to enjoy the content of their choice – offline and on the go.
By introducing this feature, TOD subscribers will now be able to have up to 25 active downloads of their favourite movies or series at one time across all their registered devices.
Additionally, viewers may download the same content on up to five supported devices with available storage space. By default, downloads will occur in standard quality; however, subscribers can opt for higher-quality videos if they wish. The downloaded videos will remain available on their devices for up to 30 days.
Speaking about the new feature, James Walmsley, Director of Technology, Products & Analytics, TOD, said: “At TOD we are constantly enhancing our services to make viewing as easy and accessible as possible, when and where our subscribers want it. I am sure that the new download on the go feature will further enhance our overall user experience by offering people a chance to enjoy our premium entertainment content, even while they are offline.”
Subscribers will be able to use the new feature to download any of TOD’s entertainment content including blockbuster movies, premium Turkish, Arabic and Western series as well as TOD Originals.
The platform also gives subscribers access to some of the latest blockbusters including Uncharted, SpiderMan No Way Home, Matrix Resurrections, The Batman, King Richards, Dune and Spy Among Friends with new titles being added daily.
