The series offers a deep dive into the personal and professional journeys of seven Muslim athletes, highlighting the profound role faith plays in shaping their careers.
Featuring a roster of world-class athletes, My Faith in Sport explores the intersection of spirituality and competition. The documentary stars Egyptian footballer Omar Marmoush (Manchester City), Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat (Fenerbahçe, formerly Manchester United) and Iraqi forward Ali Al Hamadi (Ipswich Town), the first Iraqi player in the Premier League. Also featured are AC Milan and Denmark footballer Nadia Nadim, a former Afghan refugee; Qatari Olympic gold medalist in weightlifting Fares El Bakh; British boxing sensation Adam Azim, the IBO Super Lightweight champion; and Zainab Alema, a Leicester Tigers rugby player and the first hijabi athlete striving to play for England.
