The ‘Mission: Impossible’ star Tom Cruise is known for his action-adventure films and for doing his own stunts.
NASA announced on Tuesday it is working with Hollywood actor Tom Cruise to shoot a film on the International Space Station.
In a tweet, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said: “NASA is excited to work with Tom Cruise on a film aboard the International Space Station. We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make NASA’s ambitious plans a reality.”
Elon Musk is reportedly involved in the production, which if confirmed would be first feature film ever made in space. Musk did not officially confirm the collaboration, but replied to Bridenstine, “Should be a lot of fun!”
The proposed action-adventure is in its early stages, Deadline reported on Monday.
