The official trailer for Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the Bollywood blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, has been released today.
Starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the Yash Raj Films production is Abu Dhabis longest feature film project to date.
The film was shot over a 70-day period with a 300-person production team from India, US, UK and the MENA region.
For the main filming location in Abu Dhabi, twofour54 and Yash Raj Films built a 20,000 square metre exterior set on twofour54s backlot in Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD), which features extensively in the trailer. Some 150-crew worked over 100 days to create the films main set.
twofour54 and the Abu Dhabi Film Commission both played significant roles in facilitating the films production. Tiger Zinda Hai benefited from Abu Dhabi Film Commissions 30% rebate on production spend in the emirate, while twofour54s Film and TV Services Division provided the production services.
Additionally, twofour54 arranged for three cameos in the film featuring local media figures from the Virgin Radio breakfast team Kris Fade, Big Rossi, and Priti Malik.
