With only two weeks to its debut, Tropfest Arabia will be hosting its third virtual Tweet-up on Wednesday 19 October. The Tweet-up gives anyone interested, the opportunity to tweet their queries.
The Tweet-up will feature award-winning Saudi actress and film maker Ahd. A native of Saudi Arabia, Ahd is an award winning filmmaker and actress based in New York City. Three Queens, her directorial debut screened at the Newport Beach Film Festival. The Shoemaker, her second short won The Golden Aleph for Best Middle Eastern Short at Beirut International Film Festival, 2nd prize at the Gulf Film Festival, Dubai, and competed at over a dozen international film festivals including the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
Ahd will be tweeting from the official Tropfest Arabia Twitter account (@TropfestArabia) in English and Arabic from 6pm to 7pm UAE time and will address questions about the festival and the filmmaking industry.
