Irdeto will be providing security for a new Tivibu satellite pay TV service from Turk Telecom Group. Irdetos Media Access and Management services use Irdeto CA to give Turk Telecom Group strong, renewable security across new DVB-S set-top-boxes (STBs) that offer content to non-fiber customers.
With Turk Telecom Groups recent acquisition of broadcast rights for UEFA Champions League and Europa League football, it was important to ensure this valuable sports content was well protected and available to a wide range of customers across both existing fiber networks and the new satellite network. Turk Telecom Group, therefore, sought a partner that could offer first-class security services and also had the local market experience to ensure smooth deployment.
