The show will have its first global premiere of 2024 on January 3 on Tring TV Albania.
Turkish distributor Calinos Entertainment’s series Farah, the Turkish adaptation of the Argentinean series La chica que limpia (The Cleaning Lady), clinched deals in more than 30 countries in 2023, with a final agreement in Lithuania marking the year’s conclusion.
Produced by O3 Medya, Farah has expanded its international footprint, securing deals that span Azerbaijan, Albania, Lithuania, Romania, and the MENA region in 2023. Anticipated deals for Latin America (LatAm) and other regions are on track for finalisation in early 2024.
The series is set to make its first global premiere of 2024 on January 3, exclusively on Tring TV Albania and is currently streaming on Arabic streaming platform Shahid.
Starring a stellar cast including Demet Ozdemir, Engin Akyurek, Firat Tanis, Senan Kara, Lale Basar, Oktay Cubuk, Mustafa Avkiran, and Ali Surmeli, Farah narrates the story of an Iranian woman who flees her homeland and grapples with life in Istanbul. Working as a cleaning lady to sustain her son’s medical treatment, she finds herself entangled with the mafia as the narrative unfolds.
Penned by Deniz Dargi, M. Cem Gorgec, and S. Cenk Bogatur, Farah is a Turkish adaptation derived from the original Argentinian drama.
