The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information has announced the official launch of a new Kuwaiti news channel, set to debut on July 28. This move is part of a strategic initiative to enhance local, regional and international news coverage, according to a report by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Dr Bader Al-Enezi, spokesperson for the Ministry and acting Undersecretary of the News and Political Programmes Sector, stated that the channel aims to reflect Kuwaiti cultural identity while staying updated with global developments.
Dr Al-Enezi highlighted the channel’s programming lineup, emphasising its focus on local news, comprehensive news bulletins, cultural and dialogue programmes, and reports on economic, sports, social, and cultural topics. He also noted the involvement of national experts known for their extensive experience and expertise.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities, the new channel boasts cutting-edge studios for television broadcasting, filming and directing. This investment ensures the delivery of high-quality and innovative media content.
