Twofour54 Abu Dhabi has announced a partnership with Unity Technologies to launch the Middle East and Africa’s first-ever regional Centre of Excellence which will provide the game development industry in the region with on-the-ground support to students, professionals and small businesses.
Twofour54 and Unity will develop a state-of-the-art gaming hub where local start-ups and students can learn the skills needed to succeed in the gaming industry. The training initiative will sit alongside a subsidy package for developers.
The Centre of Excellence will offer technical and business support services provided by Unity to game development companies of all sizes, from start-ups to established companies.
In addition to game creation services, business development support and academic training, the Centre of Excellence will also offer a training and entrepreneurial platform for cultivating talent and launching careers.
