twofour54, Abu Dhabis media and entertainment hub, and the National Media Council (NMC) have announced a joint launch of the first Creatives4Good competition.
The initiative calls on the UAEs creative community to channel their imagination to produce positive content inspired by the Year of Giving initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
The competition is open to Arabic and English speakers who are either UAE nationals or residents, aged 18-35. To enter, participants must submit a minute-long video that defines creativity. twofour54 will review all applications and shortlist finalists to attend a three-day mentoring workshop at twofour54.
Commenting on the competition, Her Excellency Maryam AlMheiri, CEO of the Media Zone Authority Abu Dhabi and twofour54, said: At twofour54, we champion the creation of original and imaginative content because we believe it enhances our world for the better and can inspire people to acts of kindness and generosity.
Were delighted to be supported in this competition by the National Media Council, who share our vision of nurturing the development of the media industry in the UAE.”
