Hajwala 2: The Mystery Mission, the sequel to the action-comedy film Hajwala is currently completing post-production at twofour54 having been filmed only in the UAE.
The film was shot in several locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain and is the latest Arabic production to work with twofour54.
The director and producer made use of the twofour54s facilities, including one of its 24 4K edit suites, as well as Davinci colour grading and sound services, over the past 30 days.
Hajwala 2: The Mystery Mission is the sequel to the highest-grossing UAE film of all time, 2016s action hit Hajwala: The Missing Engine, and revolves around the story of a band of outlaw car drifters. It is directed by Ibrahim bin Mohamed and Hasan Aljabri. The cast includes Captain Abdallah Youssef, the Saudi drift champion; Kshouna, a female automotive sportsperson; Miral Niazi, an Iraqi actress; Hussein Al Hosani, a young comedian and Emirati actor; Omar Al Hashmi, the drifter; and Abdo Feghali, a Lebanese drifter, while films crew consists of some 30 individuals with international backgrounds and experiences.

Abu Dhabi has seen a surge in interest as a location for Arabic productions in recent years. Earlier this year, twofour54 and Abu Dhabi Film Commission announced their partnership on Emirati movie Fan of Amoory. The film, which is produced by Cinema Vision Films, a partner at twofour54, has gone on to represent the UAE in official competition at six international film festivals. And, last year alone, more than 10 Arabic TV productions filmed in Abu Dhabi, such as Hijjawi Production and Distributions modern drama Something from the Past. Other Arabic productions being made at twofour54 include popular TV series Al Asoof and Iftah Ya Simsim.
twofour54 has also entered into strategic partnerships with a number of content creators from the region to produce Arabic content, including a three-year deal with O3 Productions that secured an additional 300 production days a year to Abu Dhabi.
