Following this partnership with software company wi-Q Technologies, Star Cinema customers at Star Bawadi Cinema, can now order and pay for F&B services on their own mobile device without having to download an app.
UAE-based Star Cinemas has partnered with software company wi-Q Technologies, to deploy its app-free mobile ordering and experience platform, wi-Q in all its cinemas in the emirates.
Delivering functionality through HTML technology, wi-Q Technologies’ platforms enables customer-centric features including automatic language translation, allergen/dietary requirements and multiple payment options, as well as instant ROI to venues via upselling, loyalty and data-driven marketing tools, the release stated.
Following this partnership, Star Cinema customers at Star Bawadi Cinema, can now order and pay for drinks, sweets and popcorn on their own mobile device without having to download an app.
The mobile ordering menu is accessible via the internet browser on the customer’s device, it stated.
Depending on the screen number, customers can either pre-order their desired items for collection, or have them delivered to their seat number. Customers also have the choice of paying via debit/credit card or cash upon collection, it added.
