Live feeds will be distributed through Eurovision Global Hybrid Network, which uses satellites, fibre-optics, and IP infrastructure.
UEFA has appointed Eurovision Services as the exclusive provider for the distribution of the global broadcast signal for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in England.
A provider of connectivity solutions for the world’s major sports events, Eurovision Services will be providing two satellite news gathering (SNG) trucks at each venue in order to distribute match feeds A and B and the pre-and post-match live flash interviews to UEFA’s worldwide broadcast partners. The company will also provide a UHD-SDR signal for all matches from the quarter-finals onwards, as well as the international signal for UEFA broadcast partners to live stream matches on their respective OTT platforms.
Eurovision Services will be distributing the live feeds for all matches in the tournament over its Eurovision Global Hybrid Network, which uses satellite, fibre-optic and IP infrastructure.
Speaking about the deal, Marco Tinnirello, CEO of Eurovision Services, said: “The service delivery for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 in England is the culmination of months of planning at Eurovision Services involving teams from across the organisation. Thanks to their unparalleled experience I am confident that the Women’s Euro 2022 will benefit from the top-quality service that we are renowned for.”
The UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 runs until July 31, 2022, across nine stadia in England.
