Zain and VOD services provider Vuclip, have announced the availability of Viu to its customers. Viu, the OTT video service by PCCW and Vuclip, will be available to consumers through a carrier billing partnership with Zains managed service provider SLA Digital.
Viu is available in 15 markets including the Middle East countries of Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Vius value proposition includes fresh and localised regional and local premium TV shows, movies and Viu Originals. With the new partnership, Zain Kuwait customers will have access to content in more than 20 different languages.
Commenting on the new initiative, Muzamil Shaikh, Zain Kuwaits Wholesale and Partner Relations Director said: “The launch of Viu in partnership with Vuclip reinforces Zains commitment to provide customers with premium content that can be enjoyed through convenient and secure digital services like Carrier Billing.”

Vuclip plans to work together with SLA Digital to extend the Viu service offering to other Zain Group customers in the Middle East.
