TNT will be available on StarTimes’ DTT Basic Bouquet (channel 047 and 214 in Uganda), and Smart Bouquet on DTH (channel 186).
Media and entertainment company WarnerMedia has launched its Hollywood channel TNT on digital TV operator StarTimes in English speaking sub-Saharan Africa countries.
From September 15, StarTimes subscribers in over 10 countries including Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia, will be able to access a slate of films, alongside original TNT productions.
The new TNT deal will diversify WarnerMedia’s channel offering giving StarTimes’ viewers and demonstrates the channel’s commitment to delivering premium content to more customers across sub-Saharan Africa.
As part of the September launch, TNT has a line-up of titles with the premiere of its latest TNT Original Movie, Human Capital; titles of Denzel Washington including Remember the Titans, Déjà vu, The Hurricane and Fallen; The Transporter, National Treasure, Karate Kid, and Free Willy among others.
