Egypt’s digital streaming platform WatchiT has announced 17 drama series for the holy month of Ramadan, with a special three-month offer. A monthly subscription fee of EGP120 ($7.66) instead of EGP 288 ($18.39) will give subscribers unlimited access to its content without ad breaks across all devices. WatchiT also has a discounted offer of 499 EGP ($31.99) instead of 999 EGP ($63.99) on its annual bundle.
Shows streaming exclusively on the platform include Al Ekhtyar 2, starring Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Mekky; Nasl El Aghrab starring Ahmed El Saka and Amir Karara; Mousa starring Mohamed Ramadan, Covid-25, starring Youssef El Sherif; We Kol Ma Naftarek starring Riham Hagag; El Nemr, starring Mohamed Adel Emam; and Bein El Sama Wel Ard starring Hani Salama and Dorra.
WatchiT will also stream the Egyptian Premier League (EPL) with on-demand matches, including the globally renowned Derby of Cairo between Ahly and Zamalek on April 18.
The streaming service, in cooperation with Visa, will also provide an additional 30% discount on the Ramadan three-month offer for its Egypt-based customers.
