Wohler Technologies has announced a shift in its U.K.-based operations with the appointment of Craig Newbury to the role of EMEA sales director, RadiantGrid.
Newbury, who joined Wohler as senior account executive in 2012, will be responsible for customer, partner, and internal corporate sales for Wohler’s expanding RadiantGrid product line across the region. Wohler’s existing EMEA operations will continue to provide sales coordination and support for RadiantGrid, as well as for Wohler’s industry-leading line of monitoring products and signal management solutions.
“In the past year, Craig very quickly proved to be a valuable asset to the Wohler Technologies team,” said Edel Garcia, vice president of sales, RadiantGrid.
“He has a solid track record of building trusted customer and channel partner relationships, as well as the ability to develop complex solution sales. Given his experience in the EMEA market, we are very excited to have him lead our EMEA RadiantGrid sales team in delivering our award-winning file-based solutions.”
Newbury has more than 15 years of experience in the broadcast and media industry. Prior to joining Wohler, he served in sales and management roles at Axon Digital Design and AmberFin. Earlier, he held technical presales and product specialist roles at Snell and operational roles at major U.K. playout centers such as Ascent Media Network Services and Technicolor Network Services.
