Yes Studios will share international distribution for 'Wonder' with Paramount's Ananey Studios.
Yes Studios has announced the production of its new drama series, Wonder, an 8 x 45’ realistic technological thriller.
Set in the near future, Wonder centres around Noya, a 17-year-old girl who is killed in a car crash. The story follows her father Avner, a retired combat officer, and Daria, Noya’s best friend and a social media personality, as they embark on a journey to investigate her death. They uncover that Noya had a secret virtual life tied to a growing movement of teenagers immersed in Wonder, a mysterious virtual reality gaming app. Avner, who was largely absent from Noya’s life, now faces shocking revelations about his daughter. Their investigation, interspersed with flashbacks to Noya’s past, gradually unravels the dark sequence of events leading to her nighttime accident in the desert.
Wonder, set to debut later this year on leading broadcaster and streamer yes TV, was created by Yishai Orian and Yair Sagi. It is produced by Paramount’s Ananey Studios and stars Noa Kirel, one of Israel’s most prominent young talents and the singer behind its 2023 Eurovision Song Contest entry, along with Yovel Lewkowski.
Yes Studios, known for international hits such as Fauda, Shtisel, Your Honor, and Night Therapy, will handle international distribution for Wonder in collaboration with Paramount’s Ananey Studios.

Sharon Levi, Managing Director at Yes Studios, said: “We are excited to have this new drama series in production and look forward to introducing it to our international partners. We always try to offer something new to buyers, and Wonder is like nothing else on our slate. Futuristic but grounded in reality, this thriller will have broad appeal, but we especially believe that it will prove popular with young adult audiences looking for something different. This ‘YA’ space is something that we’ve been keen to explore, and working together with Ananey and Paramount, we have found the perfect series to both reach a global audience and resonate with a generation that is hooked on their phones and, at times, disconnected from the real world.”
