The Asia Cup will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan for the first time.
YuppTV, a prominent Over-the-Top (OTT) provider specialising in South Asian content, has acquired the broadcasting rights for the 16th edition of the Asia Cup 2023. The rights were secured from Disney Star, the global rights holder. The cricket tournament, taking place in the One Day International (50-overs) format, is scheduled to transpire from August 30 to September 17, 2023.
For the first time, the Asia Cup will be jointly hosted by two nations – Sri Lanka and Pakistan. This edition of the tournament will see six nations – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal – vying for supremacy. A total of 13 matches are scheduled across multiple venues including Multan, Lahore, Pallekele, and Colombo. YuppTV has secured telecast rights for the Asia Cup 2023 in more than 70 countries, encompassing regions like Continental Europe, Australia, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia (excluding Singapore).

Organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the Asia Cup 2023 will feature 13 matches culminating in the final showdown set to take place in Colombo on September 17, 2023. Notably, the much-anticipated match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 2, 2023.
