Ateliere partner, Synamedia, plans to showcase the latest Ateliere solutions on stand 5.A69.
Ateliere Creative Technologies, a major in media supply chain solutions, will demonstrate Ateliere Connect and Discover at IBC 2022.
The cloud-native, multi-tenant software as a service (SaaS) solutions enable customers to manage media assets and the media supply chain from concept to consumer at faster speeds. New advancements in Ateliere core technology tenets, Deep Analysis and FrameDNA, allow customers to automate the deduplication of large content libraries and archives, reducing overall storage by up to 70%, as well as reducing cloud costs and carbon footprint. Ateliere solutions run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and connect directly to cloud services. Leveraging cloud parallel processing, customers can onboard massive content libraries in a matter of days as opposed to months, as well as scale to support significant bursts in workloads at a moment’s notice.
Speaking about the solutions, Dan Goman, Founder and CEO of Ateliere, said: “Ateliere Connect and Discover are cloud-native solutions, not virtualised systems in the cloud, and thus have a direct connection to cloud services. This is a tremendous advantage for our customers. There are no server limitations, no queuing for jobs, and no taking your system down for an ad hoc integration that has a limited lifespan. Ateliere is an API-first media supply chain platform that gives you the workflow tools and on-demand computing power to operate altogether at an entirely new speed.”
Ateliere Connect gives users the tools to manage media assets, optimise content libraries, and orchestrate production and delivery of title/content packages to over-the-top (OTT), broadcast and cable endpoints in just three clicks. It’s fast to deploy with the onboarding of content libraries and key workflows within days. Native support for versioned workflows, including the Interoperable Master Format (IMF), ensures that title management includes the many versions associated with a title, including localised languages and compliance edits. Ateliere Deep Analysis/Frame DNA technology eliminates title duplication, reducing cloud storage footprints by up to 70%. Microservices and a robust API enable interoperability from ingest to quality control (QC), to packaging and delivery, as well as integration of business and legacy media asset management (MAM) systems, optimising flow and transparency of work orders, billing, and inventory.
With Ateliere Discover, content owners can power up a fully branded streaming service and orchestrate delivery across their own branded video app or major OTT marketplace in a matter of days. App elements like artwork, on-screen arrangement, layout and more can be fully customised to create a highly compelling viewer experience. Backend analytics provide valuable insights on title performance and audience viewing habits, enabling content owners to make data-driven decisions about what to deliver next. Flexible subscription, ad-based and hybrid monetization options allow users to better maximize revenue opportunities.
