AVIWEST's video contribution platform supports broadcasters in capturing and delivering live 4K, HD, and SD video over multiple unmanaged IP networks, including bonded 3G/4G/5G cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and satellite links.
AVIWEST will be demonstrating its latest live video contribution and distribution technology including the Pro3 series, AIR series, HE 4000K 4K UHD HEVC live encoder and MojoPro app at BroadcastAsia2019.
AVIWESTs story-centric solutions will streamline video production and transmission functions. Through artificial intelligence components, the solution enables media organisations to automate the production of video clips and story indexing.
At the core of the solution is AVIWEST’s Manager and StreamHub transceiver, which automatically assimilate metadata from remote field units to integrate with broadcaster production workflows.
The AVIWEST will also demonstrate its Pro3 series which includes an integrated H.265/HEVC hardware encoder, it is also 5G-compliant.
With up to 12 network links (eight cellular modems, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet), a custom antenna array, plus AVIWEST SafeStreams Technology, the new Pro3 series allows broadcasters to deliver videos while consuming less data.
The company will showcase the AIR Series which combine hardware encoders and supports 5G networks for video production.
The uplink system includes up to six network links (four cellular modems, one internal Wi-Fi, and one Ethernet), a three-hour internal battery, and AVIWEST’s SafeStreams Technology, allowing broadcasters to stream live videos, store and forward recorded content under varied network conditions.
AVIWEST will also showcase, the HE4000 4K UHD HEVC live encoder that supports real-time delivery of UHD and HD content over unmanaged IP networks.
The half 1-RU encoder combines 10-bit and 4:2:2 HEVC encoding with the SafeStreams Technology for delivery of live video content over IP at low latencies and bit rates.
The HE4000 encoder will be showcased alongside AVIWEST’s recent Quad CellLink, an external 3G/4G LTE cellular transmission solution that embeds four last-generation 3G/4G LTE cellular modems with their SIM cards.
The Quad CellLink can be mounted on a tripod or directly on the roof of a vehicle. Together with the HE4000 encoder, it supports broadcasters in critical conditions for live video transmission over bonded cellular networks.
Also on display, will be AVIWEST’s MojoPro application for iOS devices that supports live streaming, video editing, and forwarding recorded content from any location over bonded 3G/4G and Wi-Fi connections.
The smartphone app includes new features, such as an optimized interface, advanced camera settings (e.g., focus, exposure, white balance, etc.) and audio editing features.
BroadcastAsia starts June 18, 2019, to June 20, 2019, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore.
