Attendees at the 2025 NAB Show can experience the BitFire Platform in action.
BitFire has introduced the BitFire Platform, a comprehensive suite of cloud-based production tools and IP transmission technologies designed to streamline workflows for broadcasters and content creators. Offering the flexibility of the cloud with the reliability of dedicated hardware, the platform delivers cost-effective, broadcast-grade tools that can be easily deployed and scaled. BitFire will showcase its capabilities at the NAB Show 2025, taking place April 5-9 in Las Vegas.
BitFire President and CEO Jim Akimchuk said: “The BitFire Platform eliminates traditional barriers to live production by giving broadcasters, production teams, and content creators a professional, easy-to-deploy solution that’s instantly available, fully customisable, and readily scalable. With a complete cloud-based toolset at their disposal, teams of any size can launch quickly, collaborate in real-time, and produce exceptional live content from any location.”
Coinciding with NAB, BitFire will launch its redesigned website, offering immediate access to the BitFire Platform and its production capabilities.
At the core of the platform is BitFire Spark Production Environments, which allows users to build and manage live productions with speed and flexibility. A single interface enables seamless integration of switching, audio mixing, replay, intercom and multiviewing, mimicking the feel of a traditional control room while taking full advantage of cloud scalability.
Meanwhile, the BitFire Inferno Command Center provides broadcasters with a streamlined dashboard for managing cloud-based productions, transmission routing and real-time monitoring via FlightPath live statistics.
For remote collaboration, FireBridge Connect offers secure browser-based access, allowing team members to monitor live feeds, control intercom systems and contribute via webcam from anywhere in the world.
Ensuring high-quality, low-latency transmission, BitFire Transport delivers synchronised multifeed video and audio over IP, backed by BitFire’s 24/7 Network Operations Center for continuous monitoring and support.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing broadcast hardware and workflows, the BitFire Platform provides a solution for organisations embracing hybrid production models.
Akimchuk added: “As the industry continues to embrace hybrid workflows, the BitFire Platform provides an ideal solution for organisations looking to expand their live production capabilities without heavy infrastructure investment. We are looking forward to showing NAB Show attendees the new and refined BitFire.”
Visitors to the 2025 NAB Show can experience the BitFire Platform firsthand at the BitFire booth, where the company will demonstrate the platform’s capabilities and its versatility in supporting a wide range of live production use cases.
