Nikole McStanley, Chyron’s Product Portfolio Director, emphasized that the advancements in Chyron PRIME are the result of close collaboration with key customers and a strategic long-term development plan. The platform now offers designers and playout operators enhanced tools that are both powerful and user-friendly, featuring unmatched native data integration and flexibility, making it an ideal solution for any sports production.
Nikole McStanley, Chyron product portfolio director said: “The innovations that visitors will see in Chyron PRIME are the result of high-level collaboration with key customers as well as the realisation of a carefully planned long-term roadmap. Chyron PRIME now gives both designers and playout operators tool sets that are powerful, yet easy to use; unparalleled native data parsing and integration; and a high degree of flexibility to make it the ideal graphics solution for any sports production.”
Chyron PRIME allows users to create and animate captivating CG graphics, video walls and touchscreen displays, empowering sports storytelling and boosting fan engagement. IBC attendees will witness a streamlined playout workflow that simplifies operations while providing greater control over live-to-air graphics. New dynamic data features enable operators to manage not only the display of real-time data but also the data sources and the actions triggered by that data. Additionally, customisable control panels allow designers to grant operators just the right amount of control and flexibility.
Chyron will also introduce a new generation of the PRIME platform during the IBC Show, following a development process tailored to meet the demands of sports broadcasters worldwide.
At the Chyron booth, visitors can explore the updated PAINT tool, now offering more flexibility for live on-air sports analysis. New features include a Playlist that eliminates the need for a traditional replay server, an expanded range of telestration tools, 4K/UHD capabilities, and customisable interface options for branded on-air displays. Recent enhancements include multi-angle telestration, which preserves illustrations across different camera angles, and new tools like Highlight Pitch Zone and CutOut for more dynamic sports analysis.
Chyron will also showcase VSAR, now with support for Unreal Engine 5, demonstrating its use in creating immersive virtual environments for sports commentary and interviews. The Virtual Placement tool will also be featured, making it simple to add virtual graphics to live broadcasts, such as offsides lines or virtual ads on the field.
For broadcasters and streamers seeking a scalable, cost-effective, all-in-one cloud-based live production solution, Chyron LIVE will be on display. This platform provides an intuitive interface for mixing video sources, adding broadcast-quality graphics, and creating high-quality streams and clips for distribution, all without significant upfront investment.
