Clear-Com is set to unveil the future of live production communication at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show, taking place from April 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At stand, the company will present its latest innovations, including the FreeSpeak Icon beltpack, Arcadia Central Station, Gen-IC virtual intercom and a range of updates designed to optimise workflows across multiple industries such as broadcast, live events, corporate AV, education, theme parks and construction.
One of the highlights of the event will be the FreeSpeak Icon beltpack, the newest addition to Clear-Com’s FreeSpeak family. Equipped with robust RF capabilities on 1.9 GHz (DECT), nine configurable buttons, four individual channel volume controls and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, the beltpack delivers high-performance communication tailored for diverse applications. It seamlessly integrates with Arcadia Central Station and Eclipse HX digital matrix, ensuring flexibility and scalability for users.
Visitors to the Clear-Com booth will also experience the Arcadia Central Station, a scalable all-in-one intercom solution that bridges wired and wireless communication workflows. Additionally, attendees can explore Gen-IC, the Agent-IC mobile app, and Station-IC virtual desktop clients, all designed to maximise flexibility and accessibility. Gen-IC, which received multiple Best in Show awards at NAB 2024, will return with new enhancements, alongside a preview of the highly anticipated EHX v14 software release. This latest software version introduces advanced features to simplify complex system configurations and expand IP capabilities, including enhanced FreeSpeak Icon connectivity.
