DEV Systemtechnik will present its latest product developments for transmission and switching of RF signals at the ConnecTechAsia 2018 exhibition in Singapore, from June 26 to 28. Headlining DEVs showcase will be the first 16×16 L-Band Matrix Switch with up to 20 outputs.
The 16² (sixteen squared) fits into a 2 RU chassis and has a high degree of flexibility, the release stated. The number of input and output channels can be changed, connectors and impedances can be reportedly adjusted at any time. In addition to electrical and optical inputs, the 16² Matrix supports variable gain and tilt settings and can be controlled locally, via the DEV Web Interface or SNMP.
DEV will also show Modulo HFC, the modular headend platform for Hybrid Fibre Coax (HFC) networks. The system can be used for passive signal distribution as well as for active amplification and redundancy applications in cable headends. MODULO also provides optical transmission to and from fiber nodes operating in the DOCSIS 3.1 frequency spectrum. Furthermore, DEV Systemtechnik will showcase its RF-over-Fiber solution Optribution, as well as other innovative solutions for the transmission and switching of RF signals.
DEV will be exhibiting with AXING AG at CommunicAsia in Hall B, Booth 1K4-01.
