GatesAir, a provider of wireless, over-the-air content delivery solutions for radio and TV broadcasters, has announced a substantial radio win with a GCC-based client.
GatesAir has reported the purchase of four Flexiva FAX 5kW FM transmitters with redundant dual-exciter configurations. A company release stated that GatesAir won the contract due to Flexivas reliable and efficient air-cooled technology, competitive pricing, and compact footprint. The latter reportedly simplifies maintenance inside the transmitter shelters.
A company spokesperson added that GatesAir offered additional value to the client through an accelerated delivery cycle that far outpaced the competition, allowing the broadcaster to have all four stations on air well before its goal deadline.
GatesAir’s partnership with a local company will assist with installation, commissioning and post-sales support among other services.
