The company will demo its automated digital channel creation and playout solution, alongside panels with DAZN and IMAX.
LTN is set to present a range of innovative solutions at IBC 2024, focusing on cost-efficient digital linear channel creation and live event customisation using IP video distribution. The company will offer hands-on demonstrations, allowing attendees to experience how its flexible and reliable IP-based technologies enable advanced content versioning, regionalisation and multi-platform distribution, with enhanced monitoring and data visibility for improved customer control.
Among the highlights will be LTN Lift, an automated digital linear channel creation and playout solution that has helped major media companies and sports streaming services, including DAZN, generate new revenue streams and deliver tailored cross-platform experiences. Attendees will see live demonstrations of how LTN Lift facilitates the rapid creation of customised linear channels across digital platforms, such as FAST, seamlessly integrating pre-recorded and live content while supporting third-party channel management systems. The solution played a pivotal role in enhancing fan experiences during the recent European Football Championship in Germany, delivering high-quality, customised video feeds to fan zones in 10 cities.
LTN will also unveil the latest advancements in its fully managed, multicast-enabled IP video distribution solution, LTN Wave. This solution offers a flexible and cost-effective IP-based alternative to traditional satellite and fiber distribution, with improved monetisation and scalability for multi-platform distribution. Visitors will explore new monitoring, visibility, and control features that provide deeper insights into content and data workflows.
In addition, LTN will highlight its live event versioning solution, LTN Arc, which enables sports organisations and rights holders to acquire, customise, and deliver premium live events to global audiences with tailored language and audio options for effective regionalisation.
Chris Myers, LTN EVP, Chief Revenue Officer, said: “Cost efficiently creating new and unique linear channels to engage global audiences at scale is a huge focus for media companies across Europe and beyond. We’re looking forward to giving customers hands-on live demos of our IP video distribution and content versioning solutions that help Tier 1 media companies capture new revenue and expand their local and international audiences.”
Further expanding its presence in the EMEA market, LTN has recently opened a new technical operations centre (TOC) in Cologne, Germany. This facility enhances LTN’s customer support capabilities across the region while ensuring high reliability and ultra-low latency in mission-critical IP video distribution workflows.
